Rachel Cowell (Ginger moo) will be offering five Life Drawing sessions in The Loft focused on learning and experimenting with new materials and gaining more skills for people regardless of ability or previous experience.
The classes will be held on the following dates:
Mondays 6th March, 13th March, 20th March, 27th March and 3rd April.
Wednesdays 8th March, 15th March, 22nd March, 29th March and 5th April.

We are excited to announce our new venture with Alison Carter offering a bi-weekly Writing Group here at The Hawth.
The sessions will take place from 10am-12 on a Tuesday in Cafe Vita and cost £5 for a ticket. A drink of tea or coffee will be included within the ticket price. Tickets will go on sale from Tuesday 2nd May.
We believe this will be a fantastic opportunity to meet/keep in touch with fellow creative writers, support each other in the writing process and receive guidance from Alison on a regular basis.
The dates of these sessions are as follows: Tuesday 16th May, Tuesday 30th May, Tuesday 13th June, Tuesday 27th June, Tuesday 11th July and Tuesday 25th July.
Alison Carter publishes hundreds of stories and serials a year in women’s magazines, plus articles about writing in the trade press. She teaches the craft regularly at The Hawth, at the offices of ‘The People’s Friend’ in Fleet Street, and in courses in Haywards Heath and elsewhere.
We are pleased to offer the opportunity to play the instrument of the moment, the ukulele, here at The Hawth Theatre. The course will offer students the chance to learn the basics of the instrument, how to play within a group and enjoy making music, while also learning some of the basic principles of modern music making. Participants must be 13+ in age.
Our instructor, Mark Orchin has over twenty-five years of teaching experience under his belt, and has performed as a guitarist since 1989, recording and releasing five albums in addition to performing at the Hawth Folk Festival for twenty-five consecutive years.
We are offering a taster session on Saturday 29th April 2017 (some instuments provided) for £5.
The course will then take place over the following dates: 6th May, 20th May, 10th June, 1st July, 15th July & 29th July 2017. Admission is £7.50 per lesson.
Creative media teacher John Shoults offers the opportunity to learn about developing imaginative ideas for film, how to tell a story, industry and screenwriting conventions and shoot a short film of your own. Places limited.
