Begin the day exploring our 'I grew up 80's' exhibition and get inspiration to create your own 1980's inspired art. Try out different art forms and finally create your own 80's inspired t-shirt.

Share making your creation with your family.
Receive a museum certificate on the day, and an official Arts Award certificate a few weeks later!

Saturday, 15 June, 10am-3pm
This is a family arts award so a parent/guardian stays and joins in the fun - max 3 children to
1 parent/guardian.
Limited availability - max of 10 children.
All resources provided.
The day starts at 10am and ends at 3pm with a 30 min lunch break.
Led by our experienced Learning Team.
Children/Adults should bring a packed lunch, drink and breaktime snacks.
£25.00 per child (per day).
Ticket required -please bring ticket either printed out or on a mobile device.
Tickets are non refundable unless the Museum cancels the event.
Tickets are sold by the Hazlitt Theatre, but this event is held at Maidstone Museum.

Opened in 1955, The Hazlitt Theatre offers one of the liveliest and community focused programmes of arts and performance in the south east. The Hazlitt Theatre plays host to a wide variety of comedians, musicians, tributes, dance schools, amature dramatics and local and national performers.
