Parking

There are 17 car parks in Maidstone, as well as on-street pay and display areas so you should always find a parking space. Maidstone welcomes groups of visitors and coach parking in Maidstone can be found at Lockmeadow car park. There is a helpful drop off point in Station Road outside Maidstone Museum where the Visitor Information Service is located.

The Mall Maidstone - Official Parking Partner

24 hour parking available just around the corner from the Hazlitt Theatre. Pre-book a parking space up to 1 hour before your arrival for £1 per hour or £2 overnight at The Mall Maidstone. Alternatively, drive-up parking is also available at The Mall Maidstone and can be paid for on exit at the £2 evening parking rate!

Sandling Road Car Park

Between 6.30pm and 8am there is an evening/overnight charge of £2.00. In order to park overnight please make sure your pay and display ticket is paid up to 6.30pm plus the additional overnight charge of £2.00, which will register the ticket until 8am. Prices range from £1.10 for an hour stay to £6 for over 5 hours. There are 244 spaces in this car park, 11 of which are for disabled parking.  Please check for other local Long Stay Car Parks here

Fremlin Walk Shopping Centre

This is our nearest car park and is £2.20 for all evening parking from 7pm - 11.30pm. You may exit at anytime after the 11.30pm entry cut off point, as long as your ticket works correctly in the automated machine. The office staff who help, should you lose or experience a problem with your ticket, are no longer there after this time to assist. Your car will not be removed; however, from 7pm-11.30pm Fremlins operate a £2 tariff, if you exit after this time you will be charged the normal parking rate/s and not the reduced one.

Disabled Parking

There are disabled parking bays directly outside the entrance of the Hazlitt Theatre on Earl Street - please remember to display your blue badge. There is also a number of disabled spaces at The Mall and Fremlin Walk as we all as various disabled bays in all of Maidstone short stay car parks. Blue Badge holders can park in any disabled bay, or should there be none available, any of the other bays free of charge for up to four hours. Motorbikes

There is a free motorbike parking area on Earl street located almost opposite the Theatre entrance.
