ABOUT
Take a tour behind the scenes and get a sneak peek at what goes into the magic of theatre.
Learn about the history of the building, visit our backstage crew room, see the dressing rooms, hear memorable stories and even take a walk out onto our stage!
The Open Day is free to attend and the bar area will be open for refreshments and activities for families. The guided tours are £5 per person (under 16s free).
This event is held by our volunteer group The Friends of The Playhouse and guided tour tickets include a hot drink and cake.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Set in the centre of Weston-super-Mare, The Playhouse programme of events includes around 350 performances a year, attracting over 110,000 customers to the venue. The quality, range and diversity of the events has established the theatre as the home of live entertainment in Weston - from comedy to ballet, kids shows to live music. Plus the theatre regularly sees local schools and performing arts groups take to the stage for their annual productions and dance festivals.
