Cambridge, UK – The Floyd Effect, one of the UK’s most celebrated Pink Floyd tribute bands,
is thrilled to unveil their groundbreaking new production, Pulse of the Dark Side, a
mesmerising live show that seamlessly blends the timeless brilliance of Pink Floyd’s seminal
1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon with the electrifying live energy of their 1995 live
album Pulse. This ambitious performance transports audiences through the cosmic and
emotional landscapes of Pink Floyd’s most iconic works, delivering an unforgettable
experience for fans old and new.
Pulse, recorded during Pink Floyd’s 1994 Division Bell Tour, captured the band at their live
performance peak. The Floyd Effect recreates the raw energy and atmospheric grandeur of
the 1994 tour recordings including a full rendition of Dak Side of the Moon plus iconic
favourites such as "Comfortably Numb" and "High Hopes," performed with the band’s
signature attention to detail. Expect a sonic journey that mirrors Pink Floyd’s own
evolution—from the experimental psychedelia of their early days to the polished, stadium-
filling spectacles of the 1990s—complete with state-of-the-art lighting and laser effects
designed to replicate the immersive Pulse experience.
The Floyd Effect has spent almost two decades perfecting their craft, earning a reputation
for their meticulous recreations of Pink Floyd’s sound and stage presence. The band ensures
every heartbeat, cash register, and soaring guitar solo is faithfully reproduced. Previous
tours have sold out venues across the UK and Europe, and this new show is expected to be
their most ambitious yet.
