Calling all young people aged 6-18 years! Are you looking for something a bit different to do during the summer holidays? Taking place at Castle Theatre from Tuesday 1 - Thursday 3 August, Castle Fest is our 3 day festival of workshops for those who are looking to advance their performance skills.
Our workshops provide fun and enjoyable routines for all capabilitiies to learn about auditions and stage etiquette and explore new pathways for your future in theatre! Read on for more information about each workshop and how to book your space.
DAY 1 - Tuesday 1 August

Matilda The Musical Workshop SOLD OUT

Come along and learn the songs and routines from the hit movie adaptation of Matilda. With lots of singing, dancing and acting, this will be a great workshop for your little ones.

Perfect your stage presence at our Acting and Auditions Workshop! Working with a script, you will learn about how to deliver yourself to agents and casting directors!

Six Musical Workshop SOLD OUT

If you love Six the Musical, this is the workshop for you. We will be looking at songs and routines from the show, working on our singing and dance skills with a mini performance at the end!
STOMP Workshop BOOKING CLOSED
1pm - 3pm, Ages 11-18 years, £10
Feel the rhythm with our percussive Stomp workshop! Using props as well as your body, we aim to create a live band using only our imagination!
Commercial and Jazz Tech
1-3pm Ages 6-11 yrs 18 yrs, £10 LIMITED AVAILABILITY - BOOK FAST!
3.30 - 5pm Ages 11-18 yrs, £7.50 GOOD AVAILABILITY
Come along to train with our professional teachers working on Jazz technique and Commerical combos.

We recommend that they wear comfy clothes that they can move around easily in. -

We recommend that they bring some water and anything else that they might need to be comfortable. -
Do I need to stay on site while my child takes part in class or workshop?
We’re happy for you to drop them off and then pick them up at the end of the session, although you’re welcome to wait in our foyer too!
