Born from the spirit of one of London’s most iconic live music venues, the Marquee Club All Star Band celebrates the legacy of the legendary Marquee Club on Wardour Street.
From its move in 1964 from Oxford Street to its heyday in the 1970s and ’80s, the Marquee stood at the epicenter of a cultural explosion—hosting electrifying performances by rock royalty like The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, and Queen, as well as serving as a launchpad for the raw energy of punk icons such as The Sex Pistols, The Clash, and The Damned.
More than just a venue, the Marquee was a proving ground and sanctuary for generations of artists who would go on to shape the sound of modern music.
Though its doors closed in 1988, the club’s influence lives on in the hearts of fans and musicians alike. The Marquee Club All Star Band brings that legacy to life, uniting top-tier musicians to relive the spirit, sound, and energy of one of the greatest eras in British rock history.
