The award-winning Beck Youth Theatre returns with the sizzling rock ‘n’ roll musical, Footloose! Based on the 1984 film starring Kevin Bacon, Footloose features classic hits including Holding Out For A Hero, Let’s Hear It For The Boy, Almost Paradise, and the unforgettable title track, Footloose.

City boy Ren thinks life is bad enough when he’s forced to move from Chicago to the small farming town of Bomont. But his world comes to a standstill when he arrives at Bomont to find dancing and rock music have been made illegal by a law instituted by the local preacher – who is determined to exercise control over the town’s youth. Determined to bring joy and freedom back to the town, Ren challenges the rules and inspires an entire community to stand up and dance again.

Sizzling with spirit, fun and bright new talent, and set against the rocking rhythm of its Oscar and Tony-nominated score, Footloose celebrates the wisdom of listening to young people – and is the ultimate feel good night out!
