About Castle Community Theatre Company. Est 2025
Castle Community Theatre Company was established to celebrate the theatre's milestone 30th birthday and pay homage to its beginnings as a Community Theatre. Moving forward, the aim is to stage a new production every year, while completing the process with just 2 weeks rehearsals, working as a half professional and half community project.
Head of Operations & Community Engagement Martin Cleverley states “We want this to start a new journey for Castle Theatre and hopefully give us the opportunity to put on an annual production using this new theatre company."
For 2026, Castle Community Theatre Company will be presenting 'Shrek The Musical' from Thursday 16 - Sunday 19 April. The response from the community has been overwhelming and we cannot wait for rehearsals to start.
