Rumpus Theatre Company presents The Haunted Bride a spine-chilling play by John Goodrum based on the delectably eerie tale To Be Read At Dusk by Charles Dickens.
When they set off for their honeymoon in Italy, Thomas Manning is happy and carefree, but his young bride Clara is troubled... troubled by a dream, troubled by the dream of a face, three times dreamt in the nights leading up to her wedding. Amid the shadowy rooms and moonstruck gardens of the peeling, overgrown palazzo where they are to spend the next few weeks, the intangible dread that haunts her reaches its terrifying climax.
