Live & Loud

DD Events have been promoting events in Crawley and surrounding areas for 10 years. They are pleased to have partnered up with the Hawth to be bringing three local bands together for Live & Loud Crawley.

Mainly Madness are a group of Two Tone loving musicians that bring the Madness experience to you. Not only are Mainly Madness a tribute to the great band itself but also a celebration of Two Tone and Ska, which include such inspirational bands as The Specials, Bad Manners and The Beat to name a few. This fantastic genre of music manages to make you smile and stomp your feet to the rock steady beat. Whether male, female, young or old, Mainly Madness will leave you wanting more.

But Hey You, don't take our word for it, come and check us out for yourself! Prepare yourselves for the carnival, which is Mainly Madness...

Slow Time Mondays are a four piece band from Crawley. Consisting of brothers Billy and Joe Morgan and childhood friends Ryan Scopes and Charlie Wright.

Striving for big riffs and catchy choruses, their songs aim to fuse their childhood influences of Indie, new wave Mod and Ska sounds. Within their debut album Century, are tunes that are the perfect accumulation of those influences.

Recently hailed as “One of Crawley’s most exciting exports since The Cure”. The band have already played the Isle of Wight and Truck Festival, as well as picking up support slots for Glen Matlock (of the Sex Pistols), The Vapors, The Skinner Brothers, The Clause and many more.

Slow Time Mondays began selling out venues and filling pubs to their capacity in their hometown of Crawley and in 2023 headlining their own shows across the south. We are pleased to have them in our line up as part of their 2024 gigs.

The Gas, a four piece, three chords and the truth. Acoustic driven punk type band playing original songs, plenty of swagger, lead singer demands attention whilst your feet are tapping. Local lads that have played various venues in Crawley, Brighton & London, Notably the famous Dublin Castle in Camden. Check out their two video singles, Look What The Cat Dragged In and Lowlife on their Facebook page. A must see!
