Bugsy Malone Jr. Summer School Auditions

Local performers aged 7-18 have the chance to bring the hit film to the stage this summer at The Hawth.

Following the huge success of last year’s Beauty and the Beast, The Hawth present the tale of gangsters and molls set in the roaring ‘20s.

Whether you’re a singer, dancer, musician or just fancy joining in a fun summer school,  come along and find out more.

Rehearsals every Sunday 10 June-29 July and 7 & 8 August. Production week 13-16 August.

Performances 17 & 18 August.

£250 (£225 THYT/Sway members/Musicians) to include all rehearsals, production T-shirt and a professionally produced DVD of the production.

The Summer School fee can be split over the months May-August, please contact Box Office for details.

Audition Times: 

7 - 10 yrs: 9.30am - 11am 

11- 14 yrs: 11.30am - 1pm 

15 - 18 yrs: 1.30pm - 3pm 

Musicians: 3pm - 4.30pm (grade 5 minimum, please bring own instruments) 

Please prepare the following songs:
All performers: Bugsy Malone
Soloist/lead girls: Tallulah
Soloist/lead boys: Tomorrow

Musicians: Please prepare a 2 minute piece on your instrument/s at grade 5 or above. We are keen to audition: Clarinet, Flute, Alto Saxophone, Bassoon, Trumpet, Drums, Bass, Trombone, Piano and other instruments.
