FORMER EMMERDALE ACTRESS LINDA LUSARDI TO PLAY THE WICKED QUEEN IN THIS YEAR’S TRADITIONAL FAMILY PANTOMIME - SNOW WHITE & THE SEVEN DWARFS

Linda Lusardi has been confirmed to star in this year’s Pantomime. Linda will take on the role as The Wicked Queen, a role in which she is accustomed to after starring in The Woodville, Gravesend last Christmas. Linda made her Pantomime debut over 30 years ago in Dartford and has since headlined over 25 pantos.

Linda is best known for her modelling career in the 80’s and 90’s, but now her career spans the world of stage, screen and television. In 2007 she joined Emmerdale as Carrie Nicholls, 2008 saw her win Celebrity Come Dine With Me and she also came 6th in Dancing On Ice earlier that same year.

In addition to Linda, The Playhouse has confirmed the return of last year’s comic, Mike Goble. Not only did Mike play the role of Wishee Washee in the 2017/2018 Pantomime, Aladdin but he also acted as Writer and Director. Mike returns this year as Muddles and will once again be directing the in-house produced pantomime.

More casting is to be announced over the coming months.

Mark Thompson, Regional General Manager said “We’re delighted to announce that Linda is joining us. Linda brings a wealth of pantomime experience having been headlining pantomimes at theatres across the UK for over 25 years. Last years pantomime was a huge success and arguably the strongest we’ve produced to date - the return of Mike Goble as Director will see this year’s build on that success and ensure that this years offering is the best it can be. There’s a few, spectacular surprises planned for this year and 7 reasons to book early to avoid disappointment”.
