"A cult feminist disco not to miss!" ★★★★★ Fest. Named a Top Five Adelaide Fringe Show by the Guardian, this champagne-fuelled Australian troupe is unleashing their award-winning debut show with original songs, epic dance moves and an explosion of sequins! This ‘irresistibly energetic’ (Chortle) extravaganza is fiercely feminist and furiously funny.

“No one, it feels, is having a better time on stage than these women. The show is a fiercely political claiming of space – both as female artists on stage but also as women out in the world. [They] create joy through empowerment.” (Guardian)

Part-explosive comedy cabaret, part-interactive political rave, this award-winning, sequin-covered, champagne-fuelled extravaganza is guaranteed to blow your minds and your pants! You are invited to join the all-singing, all-dancing cliterati: a not-so-secret society rising up to combat misogyny and the normalisation of oppression, armed with an empowering disco soundtrack. All are welcome at this "cult feminist cosmic disco not to miss” (Fest Mag) and there is only one rule: you can have a dick, just don’t be a dick.

Fierce and funny, the show is a high-energy party bursting with original live music, anarchic audience games, DIY glamour, sharp-witted observations and of course, ridiculously epic dance moves. But it is also an uncompromising call-to-arms; brandishing the weapons of entertainment, their songs and stories undermine the fear that indoctrinates bigotry, sexism and homophobia, pinpoints the lack of education that continues to shroud the female body, and celebrates sexuality in all of its beautiful, chaotic forms.

Originally created by Tessa Waters, Rowena Hutson and Victoria Falconer, the Fringe Wives Club is now a global force of award-winning performer activists, working to bring us all onto the dance floor and towards a better future. Join the Wives as they clitterbomb the patriarchy with the full force of their combined, unquestionable talent.
